Be extremely careful what title the car has.
Some cannot be registered in Bulgaria. Best to talk to importers who actually know what is being bought.
If they cannot give a written guarantee of registration, I personally would be suspicious and look elsewhere.

Mine had a broken bumper and headlight and a bent corner of the wing. Someone estimated the repair at $25,000 and it was written off. One headlight for €250, a bumper for €30 and a little repair and paint, and I have been driving it for three months. Apart from no access to Tesla chargers, there is no other problem, though that is not really a problem for me.

Mine was also written off, a 2020 Model S, and I am driving it now. It needed two control arms, a knuckle and a wheel bearing hub. I am waiting for the registration documents after the inspection. After arrival it needed software adaptation and changes to the red rear lights so the indicators flash amber separately from the brake lights. There are options in Sofia and Pernik. I could not find someone in Plovdiv to adapt mine.
