USATeslata is an independent public diary about one Tesla Model Y import case from the USA to Bulgaria. It is not a broker, seller, repair shop, customs agent, insurer, or Tesla representative.
Who controls the site

Visiting public pages
When you open the site, the server and CDN may process technical data such as IP address, request path, browser headers, referrer, time of request, and basic security or delivery logs. This is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure, debug errors, and understand whether the site is working correctly.
The site is hosted on a VPS. Cloudflare is used for DNS, CDN delivery, and R2 asset storage for public media/assets. USATeslata does not sell personal data and does not share database contents with advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies
Necessary technologies are used to provide requested pages/features, protect sessions, remember privacy choices, keep language or display preferences, and reduce abuse. Optional analytics are off until you allow them.
Analytics and link clicks
Some partner, accessory, and short-link routes may record the link you choose to open, target host, page path, referrer/source, and technical request metadata. With your consent, client-side analytics may additionally measure page interactions and normal link clicks. This helps understand which pages, partner links, accessory links, or updates are useful. If you reject optional analytics, client-side analytics are not enabled.
Feedback and contact messages
If you send feedback or contact the project, the site stores the message, submitted contact details, and technical metadata needed to process and protect the form. This is used only to read, reply to, and manage the message.
Poll voting
Polls may store your vote, poll ID, timestamp, and limited anti-duplicate identifiers such as browser storage or a derived fingerprint/hash. This is used to reduce repeated votes and keep results useful. This mechanism is not used for advertising.
Browser push notifications
If push notifications are enabled and you subscribe, the site stores the browser push subscription endpoint, public key, auth data, locale, status, and delivery metadata needed to send or stop notifications. You can unsubscribe from the browser or site controls.
Retention
Technical logs, analytics, consent records, poll records, feedback messages, and disabled push records are kept only for the configured retention period needed for security, audit, statistics, and project operation, then deleted or anonymised where practical.
Your rights
Where GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or objection to processing. You may also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP). Contact [email protected] for requests.
Changes
This policy is updated when the public data-processing behavior materially changes, for example if newsletter, Turnstile, affiliate tracking, or another provider becomes active.
